Get Your Nosh On!
Tree of Life Jewish Food Fest set for Sunday, May 5
Tree of Life’s annual Big Nosh food and cultural festival will be held Sunday, May 5, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the congregation’s home at 6719 North Trenholm Road in Arcadia Lakes.
This year’s eat-in or carry-out menu includes such traditional Jewish favorites as corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, kosher hot dogs, and homemade matzah ball soup, tzimmes, kugel, and, of course, latkes hot off the grill.
Another highlight is the signature Big Nosh bake sale, featuring homemade challah, rugelach, hamantaschen, mandelbrot, and an assortment of incredible cakes, cheesecakes, and cookies.
This year’s Big Nosh also features sanctuary tours and a mock wedding conducted by Rabbi Erik Uriarte to give visitors a taste of Jewish religious traditions.
For enhanced security, all backpacks and purses will be subject to search. Additional security will be provided by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
